Kaivion
A decision engine for extracting maximum value from complex travel and loyalty systems.
A narrow window through which action changes outcomes. The moment when the weaver must draw the yarn through a gap that momentarily opens in the warp of the cloth being woven, by which the needle passes through threads on the loom. The finite instant when an arrow may be shot with sufficient force to penetrate a target.
Know when a redemption is worth it, when to wait, and when to move before the window closes.
A measured path. The physical infrastructure vital to the development of the Roman Empire. The roads of ancient Rome, laid along accurately surveyed courses providing efficient means for the overland movement of armies, officials, civilians, inland carriage of official communications, and trade goods.
Know the connections between programs, transfers, and redemptions. The visible map through a fragmented system that actually gets you the most value.
A pronoun that does not quite translate. It means we, us, one, anyone; the collective voice. The language of community, of clubs, of the unspoken agreement that a group has its own identity. The members who choose to be part of something, and stay loyal. The ones deserving of reward.
Know what you have earned across cards, airlines, and hotels, and treat it as something that should hold real value. For those who choose where to belong, and expect what they have earned within it to count.
A color worth more than gold.
In ancient Tyre, the Phoenicians traded a purple dye made from sea snails so rare it cost more than its weight in gold, reserved for royalty alone. Their fortune came not from creating value, but from recognizing it before others did. Your points are the modern version: real value, quietly wasted by most who hold them. Kaivion tracks yours, prices it honestly, and charts the routes that spend it like royalty.
Frequently asked questions
Things people ask before they sign up.
Is Kaivion free?▼
Yes. Free during the beta. We may introduce a paid tier later for advanced features such as automatic syncing or deeper redemption tools. We are not making any forever-free promises.
Will I get spam?▼
No spam. The emails we send are signup confirmation, your expiration alerts, and the occasional product update. You can disable expiration alerts anytime.
Is my data safe?▼
All traffic between your browser and Kaivion is encrypted with HTTPS. Your password is hashed using industry-standard algorithms by our auth provider; we never see the plaintext. Your balances live in an isolated database protected by row-level security, meaning only your own account can read them. We do not connect to any of your loyalty accounts, so the credentials for those are never on our servers. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
How does Kaivion make money?▼
It does not, yet. Long-term we plan two revenue streams: a Pro subscription for power users (about nine dollars a month, with features like unlimited award search, AI-driven recommendations, and a personalized weekly digest), and a card-recommendation affiliate stream where we get paid by the card issuer when a Kaivion user gets approved for a card we suggested. Card recommendations will always carry a clear FTC disclosure. We do not sell user data and we do not run third-party ads.
Will Kaivion ever sell my data?▼
No. Selling user data, sharing it with advertisers, or feeding it to AI training datasets are explicitly off the table. The privacy policy spells this out and we plan to keep it that way. If our position on this ever changes, every user will be notified by email and given the option to delete their account before any change takes effect.
Can I delete my account and data?▼
Yes, and it is instant. Sign in, go to /delete-account, confirm with your password, and we wipe your account and every row tied to it from our databases right then. There is no thirty-day waiting period, no support email needed.
How is Kaivion different from AwardWallet, point.me, or The Points Guy?▼
AwardWallet and similar tools focus on auto-syncing balances. Most do not value your portfolio in dollars or recommend redemptions. Kaivion does both. Other award-search tools focus narrowly on flight availability without portfolio context. Kaivion ranks award availability against your actual balances. The Points Guy is media — articles and recommendations — not a tool. Kaivion is a tool that uses media-quality reasoning to surface the right move for the points you actually have.
I do not have many points yet — is Kaivion useful?▼
Yes. Kaivion is just as useful before you have a big balance — maybe more so. Knowing what each card and program is worth, what the sweet spots are, and what to avoid spending points on early is the difference between using points well and wasting them. Track from day one, build the habit, and the value compounds.
What programs do you support today?▼
Over twenty loyalty programs across credit cards, airlines, and hotels. The major ones are American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, United MileagePlus, Delta SkyMiles, Air Canada Aeroplan, Alaska Mileage Plan, ANA Mileage Club, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, JetBlue TrueBlue, Southwest Rapid Rewards, Iberia Avios, Aer Lingus AerClub, Frontier Miles, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt, Wyndham Rewards, Choice Privileges, Best Western Rewards, Accor Live Limitless, Caesars Rewards, and MGM Rewards. We are always expanding based on what users tell us they need.
How accurate is the dollar estimate?▼
It is an approximation using realistic redemption rates per program (cents-per-point averages from public points-valuation sources). Actual worth when you redeem will vary depending on what you book. Treat it as a target floor: your real redemptions can exceed it if you choose carefully.
What if you do not support a program I use?▼
Email us at Kaivionsupport@gmail.com. We are always expanding the list of supported programs based on user requests. Most additions ship within a few days.
Do I need to be a points hobbyist to use this?▼
No. If you have a credit card, an airline account, or a hotel account, Kaivion is for you. The goal is simple: help you book the dream trip with points you already have, or save real money on flights and stays you would take anyway. You do not need to know what cents-per-point means to get value out of it.
Does Kaivion connect to my bank, airline, or hotel accounts?▼
No. For now you enter balances manually. We are working on automated syncing for a future release, but Kaivion will never ask for your loyalty account passwords directly.
Can two people share one account?▼
No. One account per person, against the Terms of Service. Your portfolio, your member number, your data. We are planning a future household feature for couples and families who want a shared view across multiple accounts, but it will be opt-in and you will each keep your own login.
